The community service activity themed Implementation of Restorative Justice in Dispute Resolution within the Dulomo Village Community was motivated by the low level of public understanding regarding the application of restorative justice as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism that emphasizes deliberation and the restoration of social relationships, resulting in conflicts often ending in fractured community relations or litigation processes that are time-consuming and costly. Through collaboration between the Faculty of Law of the State University of Gorontalo, the Dulomo Village Government, and community leaders, the activity was held on 27 July 2025 at the Dulomo Village Hall using a legal counseling method based on local wisdom, interactive dialogue, case studies, and mediation simulations. This activity provided benefits in the form of increased public understanding and legal awareness regarding amicable dispute resolution, strengthened the role of community leaders and the village government in facilitating mediation, and fostered a culture of conflict resolution that is swift, fair, cost-effective, and oriented towards the restoration of social relationships. As a follow-up, monitoring and evaluation were carried out through a Google Form-based survey to measure the effectiveness of the activity in promoting the sustainable implementation of restorative justice in Dulomo Village.
