Dampak Literasi Ekonomi dan Infrastruktur pada Kesejahteraan Masyarakat Perbatasan: Analisis Mediasi Pemberdayaan

Abstract

Ketimpangan kesejahteraan di wilayah perbatasan menjadi tantangan pembangunan global dan nasional yang memerlukan perhatian serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh literasi ekonomi berkelanjutan dan infrastruktur ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat perbatasan, dengan pemberdayaan ekonomi sebagai variabel mediasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain explanatory research dan metode analisis PLS-SEM diterapkan terhadap 250 responden masyarakat produktif di wilayah perbatasan Kalimantan Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi ekonomi berkelanjutan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan, sedangkan infrastruktur ekonomi tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan. Namun, pemberdayaan ekonomi terbukti secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh literasi ekonomi dan infrastruktur ekonomi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat. Diskusi menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan fisik tidak cukup tanpa penguatan kapasitas masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada desain cross-sectional yang belum mampu menjelaskan dinamika perubahan jangka panjang serta fokus variabel yang terbatas pada faktor internal. Saran bagi pemangku kebijakan adalah mengintegrasikan pembangunan infrastruktur dengan program peningkatan literasi ekonomi dan pemberdayaan berbasis komunitas yang partisipatif untuk mencapai dampak yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan di kawasan perbatasan.
